The ground has been used by a wide range of sports clubs including semi-professional company clubs. The turf has has been kept in good condition by periodical maintenance.

Bungo-Ono city sports complex Mie athletic ground

This ground is very popular for the field and track, Ekiden (long-distance relay) competitions. The field is fully covered by turf, thus good to play football and softball and so forth. Training during the night is possible thanks to night lighting facility.

River Park Inukai

Enormous 17,000 sq. m. field, once used for a training ground for professional football club (Oita Trinita), can accommodate two football pitches.

Bungo-Ono city Ono sports park multi-purpose ground

This versatile ground with Tifton turf is popular for football and softball teams as it has night lighting facility. The ground was used for men’s softball games for the National Sports Festival in Oita 2008.

Sunny Hall (Indoor training ground)

Quality indoor training ground of this level isn’t available elsewhere in Oita. Korean professional baseball team used here for winter training camp. City Baseball Stadium is adjacent to the facility.

15. 15Pitching machine for baseball training camps The machine is capable of pitching the ball up to 150 km/h and must be used at baseball ground or stadium only. Hardballs and quasi-hardballs can be used with this machine. It is quite rare that hotel has this quality machine.

    

16. 16No worries about rain We have two large-sized tents and one medium-sized tent. Leave your worries about rain and heatstroke behind and concentrate on your training! The tents could be used for stretching and other activities at the hotel car parking when it rains.

Enjoy surrounding rich nature or firework near the hotel. The Izaki River Park is an ideal place for families to play in the river. The Park is 15 minutes drive from the hotel and has showers and toilets.

    

18. 18Easy access from the JR Mie station Hotel Masunoi is conveniently located, just 3 minutes walk from the JR Mie station. This means easy access from Fukuoka and Kansai area via Oita by Shinkansen or express trains from there.

    We lend a helping hand to you by calling ambulance or arranging transportation to the nearby hospital. Separate rooms can be arranged on request in case of flu or cold.
